Private Piano Lessons
I specialize in piano lessons for children as young as 3 years old!
Yes, it's a great age to start private lessons, and I use the best teaching method and materials. It's all about fun and playful ways to introduce children to a real instrument!
Not only we are learning real musical skills from the very beginning, but also building confidence and appreciation of music.
Starting from the age of 4 we use "Tales of a Musical Journey,"
a pedagogical series of piano workbooks that are written in a fairytale format to introduce and expand on all basic musical concepts for young children.
"Piano Course for Older Beginners" from the same series for students ages 9 and up is following the same technical principals.
Occasionally I use pieces from the “Piano Safari“, “Piano Pronto” and "Supersonics" series, as well as many music pieces in different styles from my personal music library.
During lessons we use interactive games and manipulatives to make each session fun and memorable!
The Private Lesson program will include two “Music Parties” (Winter and Spring) are included in the yearly tuition. Music Parties are one hour long, weekend get-togethers that include numerous music games as well as a low-key performance for all students who want to attend.
We host two Music Recitals each year, usually in January and June.
